1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from stargroveae ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and stargroveae, a Thai massage therapy practice located in Zhongli, Taiwan.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• "Service" refers to Thai massage therapy sessions and related wellness services provided by stargroveae
• "Client" or "You" refers to the individual receiving our services
• "Practitioner" refers to our trained Thai massage therapists
• "Appointment" refers to a scheduled massage therapy session
• "Website" refers to our online presence at stargroveae.pro

3. Service Description

stargroveae provides traditional Thai massage therapy services including:

• Deep Tissue Restoration sessions
• Prenatal Comfort Sessions for expectant mothers
• Extended Relaxation Half-Day Retreats

All services are provided by trained practitioners and are intended for therapeutic and relaxation purposes. Services are subject to availability and practitioner discretion.

4. Eligibility and Capacity

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Disclose any medical conditions or contraindications

We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it would be unsafe or inappropriate for you or our practitioners.

5. Booking and Appointments

5.2 Confirmation

Appointments are confirmed only upon receipt of confirmation from stargroveae. We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance, though we will accommodate same-day requests when possible.

5.3 Arrival Time

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time for first visits to complete health questionnaires. Late arrivals may result in shortened session time to accommodate subsequent appointments.

5.4 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee of 50% of the session cost. No-shows without notification will be charged the full session fee.

6. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Disclose any medical conditions, medications, or recent injuries
• Inform practitioners immediately of any discomfort during sessions
• Respect practitioner boundaries and professional conduct
• Arrive clean and in appropriate hygiene condition
• Follow post-session care recommendations
• Treat staff and facilities with respect
• Silence mobile devices during sessions

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Pricing

Current session prices are:

• Deep Tissue Restoration: TWD 1,600
• Prenatal Comfort Session: TWD 4,500
• Extended Relaxation Half-Day Retreat: TWD 14,000

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Changes will not affect appointments already booked at the time of notice.

7.2 Payment Methods

We accept cash, major credit cards, and mobile payment methods common in Taiwan. Payment is due immediately following your session unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

7.3 Deposits

Extended Relaxation Half-Day Retreat bookings require a 50% deposit to secure your reservation. Deposits are refundable with 48 hours notice of cancellation.

8. Health and Safety

8.1 Medical Disclaimer

Thai massage therapy is intended for relaxation and therapeutic purposes. It is not a substitute for medical care or professional medical advice. We are not medical doctors and do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for medical conditions.

8.2 Contraindications

You should not receive Thai massage if you have:

• Acute injuries or inflammation
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Recent surgery (within 6 weeks)
• Contagious skin conditions
• Fever or infectious illness

If you have any chronic conditions or concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.

8.3 Pregnancy

Prenatal sessions are available with specialized practitioners. We require consultation before first prenatal session and recommend obtaining clearance from your healthcare provider.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• stargroveae and its practitioners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session in question
• We are not responsible for exacerbation of pre-existing conditions not disclosed to us
• We are not liable for reactions to products used during sessions if allergies were not disclosed

This limitation applies except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal and health information is kept confidential and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Taiwan's Personal Information Protection Act.

Session notes are maintained for therapeutic continuity and are accessible only to practitioners involved in your care.

11. Professional Conduct

All services are provided in a professional therapeutic context. Any behavior that could be interpreted as sexual in nature will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and permanent ban from our services.

Practitioners maintain professional boundaries and draping at all times. Clients should report any concerns about professional conduct to management immediately.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of stargroveae and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason
• Terminate sessions if client behavior is inappropriate
• Ban clients who violate these terms or behave inappropriately
• Cancel appointments due to practitioner illness or emergency

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule appointments.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

15.2 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Taiwan, Republic of China. Any legal disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active clients.

Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
